Helena Brunsdon
Pilates Teacher & Owner of Life Fit Pilates
Helena, 55, has called the Central Coast home since 2015.
A Diploma qualified Pilates teacher, Helena has completed hundreds of hours of supervised training and teaching, ensuring her expertise goes beyond basic online certifications. Her commitment to professional development on a regular, annual basis underscores her dedication to providing high-quality Pilates.

Since beginning her teaching journey in January 2021, Pilates has been Helena's primary source of income—not merely a hobby or side project. Her passion for Pilates stems from personal experience: she knows firsthand how effective Pilates can be in recovering from injury and maintaining an active, pain-free lifestyle, as well as how quickly those benefits diminish when she does not uphold her own Pilates practice.

Having lived through her own experiences with lower back, foot, and neck/shoulder injuries, the challenges of childbirth, degenerative aches and pains, and the physical changes brought on by peri-menopause, Helena brings a distinctive outlook on health and wellness.

She is deeply committed to promoting healthy aging, ensuring both herself and her clients remain active, independent, and engaged—physically and cognitively—at every stage of life.
Her goal is to support others in staying strong, mobile, and independent. She believes in empowering individuals to live life to the fullest through safe, enjoyable, and consistent movement. Regular physical activity is the foundation of good health and plays a crucial role in maintaining a long health-span for a quality life-span.

As a result, Helena’s Life Fit Pilates community is diverse, spanning ages from early teens to individuals in their 80s, all united by a shared commitment to taking control of their health and well-being.
